Skala Maries is a village with about 400 inhabitants and is located in southwestern Thassos near the sea. It is the port of the mountain village of Maries. It is located 14km. from the port of Prinos and 31km. from the port of Thassos (Port).

Visitors deserve to notice the architecture of the houses that are beautifully built amphitheatrically. In the center of the village they can enjoy their lunch or coffee.

Near the village there are five beaches, each with its own unique character.

Schinos Beach:
It is a deserted beach just before entering the village. It is an ideal destination for those who love natural beauty and enjoy the deep blue sea away from the crowds.

Platana Beach:
It is the first beach you will encounter as soon as you enter the village. It is an organized beach with sunbeds, shallow water and a huge sandy beach. The fine sand inside and outside the sea is ideal for young and old.

Skala Maria Beach
It is a small organized beach located in the center of the village. Around it there are many taverns that are famous for their good food and fresh fish.

Atspas beach
A small and organized cove with sunbeds overlooking the dense vegetation. Its crystal clear and shallow waters as well as the sandy beach make swimming in Atspa a pleasure for young and old.

Fari Beach
It is a deserted beach that is ideal for those who like quiet, relaxation, excursions and adventure. It may not be an organized beach but the enchanting landscape will give you unique experiences.
